We do things a little differently! Instead of a traditional application, we use a simple intake form and a foster waiver (release of liability) to get started.Here’s how to become the proud new parent of one of our beloved Guests:
1. Schedule a Meet & Greet (must be in the Charlotte, NC area. Meet & Greets will be held in your home).
We require an in-home visit to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all!
Please email [email protected] to schedule and please email your veterinary reference(s). Once we approve your references, you’ll move into the Foster-to-Adopt stage.
2. Foster-to-Adopt Trial
This trial period gives everyone a chance to make sure it’s the right fit.
We do not allow same-day adoptions. Every dog must go through this foster process.
3. Final Adoption
The length of the foster trial varies and will be discussed with a representative based on the dog’s needs.
Once you’re fully committed to adoption, a representative will return for a final wellness check.
The adoption fee is $275 - $350, we send over the final adoption paperwork VIA email for legal transfer. And just like that, the adoption is finalized!

What is the adoption fee for dogs?
Our adoption fee varies by animal and situation but generally ranges between $250 to $400, covering vaccinations, microchipping and more!
